Trans-Sylvania Mountain Bike Epic
About Us
The Trans-Sylvania Mountain Bike Epic is Central Pennsylvania’s premier multi-day mountain bike stage race, held across Rothrock and Bald Eagle State Forests. Riders can choose 5-day or 3-day formats, tackling roughly 30 miles and 3,000 feet of climbing per stage on classic Appalachian singletrack and forest roads. Each day brings a new mix of endurance riding, technical trail, and sustained climbing, with cumulative fatigue building across the week. The event is known for its strong community atmosphere and all-inclusive experience, featuring camping, meals, a custom jersey, finisher award, and a $5,000 cash purse.
