Eastern States 100
About Us
The Eastern States 100 is one of the most demanding 100-mile ultramarathons in the eastern United States, featuring a 103-mile single-loop course that circumnavigates Pine Creek, known as the “Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania.” The route is almost entirely singletrack and doubletrack, with more than 20,000 feet of elevation gain across rugged, remote terrain. With a strict qualifying standard and an average finisher rate of around 49 percent, the race is known for its difficulty, technical trails, and relentless climbs that test even experienced ultrarunners.
