SavageMan Triathlon Festival
About Us
Set in the rugged Allegheny Mountains around Deep Creek Lake, SavageMan is a uniquely demanding triathlon that embraces tough terrain rather than avoiding it. The course is best known for the infamous Westernport Wall, a brutally steep 31% climb where successful riders earn their name engraved in the pavement, along with a series of relentless ascents and descents through scenic mountain roads. While the challenge is intense, athletes are rewarded with sweeping views of ridgelines, fall foliage, and the lake below, making SavageMan as visually stunning as it is physically punishing.
