Shenandoah Mountain 100

About Us

The Shenandoah Mountain 100 is a 100-mile backcountry mountain bike event held in Virginia’s George Washington National Forest and one of the most iconic endurance rides in the East. With nearly three decades of history, the course features rugged hand-cut singletrack, remote forest roads, and around 14,000 feet of climbing. Riders start at Stokesville Campground before dawn and often finish under lights after a full day in the mountains, surrounded by a strong sense of community built through shared effort and challenge. A 100K option offers a shorter route, while the full 100-mile distance remains a true endurance bench
